Pastor's Murder Suspects Cases Continued

Two men charged in the murder of a local pastor had their cases continued until this summer.

Tyrell Artis, 21, and Shamel Brown, 22, are charged with the August 20 slaying of Pastor Jim Carr of Greenville. The 60-year-old was fatally shot in his home in the Westhaven neighborhood in Greenville, and friends say, he died protecting his wife. Police said after the arrest they believe the motive for the crime was robbery.

Artis and Brown's cases are now set for June 4th.
