A former church pastor has been arrested on child pornography charges in Wayne County.
Police say Timothy Strickland had been the pastor of Jones Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mount Olive.
The 41-year-old was arrested Tuesday on ten counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Mount Olive police say the arrest came after a federally executed search warrant of his home on East James Street where lawmen seized materials which indicated minors were exploited.
Warrants say the victims were between 4 and 10 years old.
Strickland was jailed under a $50,000 bond.
