A winter weather advisory has been issued for all of eastern Carolina except Carteret, Onslow, and Duplin counties from 6pm Thursday through 4am Friday. Light freezing rain and sleet will be possible.
Skies will be partly cloudy for Monday with a few showers and storms popping during the afternoon hours. Temperatures will continue to stay near normal, hovering in the upper 80s for much of eastern Carolina. Similar conditions are on tap for Tuesday as a front stays stalled over the area for the first part of the work week.
