Boil Water Recinded For Pamlico County Residents

Pamlico County officials say the boil water advisory for sections of their county has been lifted as of Wednesday morning.

Previous Story

An emergency water line repair is causing low pressure and outages in some parts of Pamlico County.

Residents along Neuse Road, Roberts, Road, Goose Creek Road, John Pollock Road, Rice Road, Kennels beach Road, Woola Woola Road, Live Oak Road, Pine Road, Chestnut Road, Willis Road, Wood Landing Road and a section of River Ridge Road are being told to boil their water.

For human consumption you should boil the water for one minute or use bottle water. Bottled water will be distributed at Lionel Willis' Old Store at 7282 Neuse Road at 2:00 p.m.

The boil water advisory will remain until tests come back that indicate the water is safe to drink.
