Police say a local man is behind bars after trying to sell drugs to a child.
Washington Police said 24-year-old Lamont Smith was arrested this week after he tried selling cocaine to a child under the age of 13.
Police charged Smith with trying to sell possession of cocaine with the intent to sell or deliver it to a person under 13 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Smith is being held under a $25,000 bond.
