POLICE: Woman Steals Elderly Man's Wallet At Greenville Lowe's

A woman is caught on surveillance video stealing an elderly man's wallet, and now Greenville police want to catch her.

Police say last Wednesday the 82-year-old man was returning items at the Lowe's on South Memorial Drive and Thomas Langston Road when he accidentally left his wallet on the customer service desk.

Store video shows the victim leaving the counter around 7:00 p.m. and a woman walking up moments later. The video shows the woman placing a bag on the counter and immediately picking up the wallet. Police say she discretely looked through the wallet, made her returns, and left with the wallet.

The victim discovered he left his wallet and contacted the store to see what happened to his wallet.

Anyone with information on who the woman is in the video should call Greenville police at 252-329-4156 or Crime Stoppers at 252-758-7777.
