POLICE: Man Caught On Surveillance Video May Have Run To Greenville

A man caught on surveillance video inside a Martin County business is now believed to be on the run and could be in Greenville.

Robersonville police say they have warrants out for Dale Williams of Robersonville.

Captain Phillip Lee says the 26-year-old Williams is wanted for the Friday break-in at Hurst Ice & Coal.

He said officers responded around 6:00 a.m. to the East Railroad Street business after someone tossed a rock through the glass in an office door.

Video shows the man ransacking a desk, and then crouching down as to avoid another surveillance camera.

Lee says they used the video to identify Williams, who they believe has fled to Greenville.

Taken in the break-in was a roll of quarters and some change worth about $12.
