Owner: Golden Corral In Washington Closing Temporarily

The Washington Golden Corral will be closing its doors for the next few days to a week, according to the store owner.

The owner of the restaurant, Terry Tetterton, tells WITN that the business will be shutting down for 2 days to possibly a week. He says during this time they will be transferring from a franchise back to a corporate store. Tetterton said that in the long term, the move is easier for everyone concerned, and can offer the store more.

Tetterton says he will be meeting with employees Sunday night and that nobody will be losing their job as a result.

WITN was contacted by employees after learning from managers that the restaurant would be closing up Sunday night and that their future employment was uncertain.
