An overturned trailer caused a big rush hour mess in Winterville late this afternoon.
A piece of construction equipment was on the flatbed trailer when the trailer became unhitched and turned over.
It happened at the intersection of Fire Tower Road and Highway 11 just after 5:00 p.m. Traffic headed south on Highway 11 was being detoured through Sam's Club Parking Lot.
No on was injured and Winterville police say charges are pending.
