Fire crews in Kinston battled another fire at a vacant home overnight.
Officials say the call came in around 2:15 a.m. this morning of a fire at 407 North Orion Street in Kinston. Fire officials say the house was vacant and half of it was consumed in flames when they arrived on scene. They say most of the damage was in the front room and attic; no injuries were reported.
The cause of this fire is undetermined at this time.
