An Onslow County man died over the weekend in a car crash.
Highway Patrol troopers tells us Thomas Deloach was driving on Red Barn Road in his pickup truck early Saturday morning.
Troopers say he ran off the road to the right, overcorrected and cartwheeled his truck into a yard. They tell WITN Deloach was thrown from the truck and died at the scene.
Troopers say Deloach wasn't wearing a seat belt and that alcohol and speed are a factor in the deadly crash. They say Deloach was driving an estimated 70 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.
