One Person Stabbed, Others Wounded In Overnight Incident

Greenville police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.

An alert from ECU says a man was assaulted at the corner of 5th and Reade Streets.

Police say they located a stabbing victim near E. 4th and Evans St., but it is not clear where the actual stabbing occurred.

The victim refused to provide details of the stabbing to authorities. Two other victims suffered superficial wounds, according to police. However, police say they refused police assistance.

Police have not released the names of the victims. Police say the injuries to all involved are not life threatening.
