New Bern Police Looking For Shooting Suspect

New Bern Police say they are looking for 23-year-old David King wanted for the shooting of Rico Ford Thursday afternoon. Police have a warrant charging King with Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

New Bern Police say 25-year-old Ford was found shot at 1210 Broad Street about 4:00 p.m. Thursday after someone called in a report of a gunshot victim.

Police say the man was shot at the intersection of Bay and Crawford Streets near downtown New Bern.

Ford of White Street in New Bern was taken to Carolina East Medical Center.
