Greenville police said they are searching for two masked robbers who targeted a gas station just before midnight Sunday.

Greenville Police said there was an armed robbery at the Exxon, also known as The Fuel Doc, on 2403 North Memorial Drive in Greenville shortly before 12 a.m. Sunday.

Officers said two men entered the store with their faces covered, one with a gun.

Police said the gunman demanded cash from the clerk.

The pair got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to officers.

The store clerk on the morning shift told WITN they are thankful the overnight worker was not hurt during the robbery.
