According to new data, SBI agents and other law enforcement officers busted over 500 meth labs in North Carolina in 2013.
Since January 1, 2012, pharmacies have been required to log all purchases of pseudoephedrine. Pseudoephedrine is a key ingredient in making meth.
The report indicates that Onslow County ranked second in meth busts, coming in with a total of 46 labs. It ranked Wilkes County as number one.
