New Bern Police Investigating Shooting Near Bar

New Bern Police are investigating the shooting of a man near a bar.

Lt. Ronda Allen says that the shooting happened near Nikki’s Bar & Lounge on Bern Street around 2 a.m.

Officials tell us that 39-year-old Telly Miles was the victim. We’re told Miles was treated and released from the hospital.

We have a call into the supervisor on duty for more information on this case.
