Nearly $20,000 In High Grade Pot Seized From Belhaven Home

Deputies say they found nearly $20,000 in high quality marijuana during a search in Belhaven on Friday.

Three people have been charged with various drug crimes, including possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana within a thousand feet of a child care facility. They are Delray Jennette, Dexter Dills and James Taylor, all of 670 Pine Street in Belhaven.

Beaufort County deputies say they also found crack cocaine, digital scales, plastic baggies, along with a Clorox bottle and Sprite can with hidden compartments.

Bond for Jennette was set at $15,000, Dill's bond was $750, while Taylor was given a $10,000 bond.
