NEW INFO: 14-Year-Old Georgia Girl Found Alive

A missing 14-year-old Georgia girl has been found alive after she was abducted during a home invasion.

Clayton County Police Chief Gregory Porter say Ayvani Hope Perez is safe and has been reunited with her family.

She was found in Conyers, Georgia and police have two people in custody.

Federal, state and local officials had been searching around the clock for Perez. She was taken from her home around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday by two men who had demanded money and jewelry. The burglars also shot and killed the family's dog.

Police say the girl's mother tried to hide the teen and her 15-year-old brother, but the armed men found them in the house.

The FBI says two people are in custody while there are several other people they are investigating in connection with the abduction.

The FBI and local police would not go into details about their arrest or how they found the girl.

A nationwide AMBER Alert has been issued for 14 year-old Ayvani Hope Perez of Georgia.

Police say she was abducted from a home in Clayton County, Georgia when two armed men broke in early Tuesday morning.

They say intruders demanded jewelry and money when they broke through the back door of the home.

Ayvani's mother tried to hide both of the children, but the intruders found the girl. Police now say she is in danger.

Ayvani was last seen wearing blue and grey star wars pajamas and a blue-grey superhero shirt.
