National Gas Prices Up 12 Cents In Past 3 Weeks

The average price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped nearly 12 cents over the past three weeks.

That's according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel prices, which puts the price of a gallon of regular at $3.51 nationwide.

Midgrade costs an average of $3.65 a gallon, and premium is at $3.77.

Diesel was up about four cents, at $3.95 a gallon.

Of the areas surveyed, Denver has the nation's lowest average price for gas at $3.01. New York's Long Island has the highest at $3.82.
