Dispatch: Fire Destroys Nash County Home

An emergency dispatcher says that a family was able to escape a fire Saturday morning.

Officials say that they got the call to the fire around 11:06 a.m. at 2000 Exum Road just north of Nashville in Nash County. We’re told that three people were able to get out okay, but that the home was destroyed.

Several fire crews are said to have responded and got the blaze under control by 12:30 p.m.

No word yet on what started the fire.
