Man Stabbed During Greenville Armed Robbery

Dispatchers say a man was stabbed during the armed robbery of a convenience store Sunday night.

The robbery and stabbing was reported at the K&A Convenience Store on West Fifth St. near Vance St. in Greenville.

A police report says the victim, Gary Tyson, was robbed of $20. It says the man received moderate injuries in the 11:30 p.m. robbery.

The police report does not list any information on the robber, other than they acted alone.

The store is on the same block as the Greenville Police Substation.
