Police in Snow Hill said a crack down on neighborhood crime led them to an 11-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy.

Officers got a call Tuesday to a home break-in at 303 Greenridge Road in Snow Hill.

Victims tell us that officers spotted two Razor-brand scooters in the front yard, a boy running into the woods, and a broken window in the back of the home. The interior security system had been ripped off the wall.

Investigators also said a neighbor believed someone had tampered with things in her vehicle, according to the victims.

Reports indicate nothing was stolen from the home and the vehicle owner said there may have been spare change stolen from inside the car.

Officers tell reporters they later connected the scooters left in the yard to two local children.
