NC House Speaker-Elect Visiting Onslow County

The incoming Speaker of the House in the North Carolina General Assembly will visit Onslow County today. Speaker-elect Thom Tillis is from Charlotte.

Tillis has a day of events scheduled in Onslow County. Tillis is scheduled to make stops at Coastal Carolina Community College, Camp Lejeune, a school and some businesses.

Tillis will conclude the visit by swearing in Representative-elect Phil Shepard at the Onslow County Courthouse.

The new legislative session begins January 26.
