NC-20 Asks For No Ferry Tolls

By  |

The group representing 20 coastal counties in North Carolina has passed a resolution in favor of removing all ferry tolls.

The group NC-20 says the eastern part of the state is falling behind the piedmont and says a primary reason is the huge difference in transportation spending.

In a press release, the group says ferries are the east's beltlines, our connectors, and part of our allure to tourists.

NC-20 is asking all counties to officially adopt the resolution and send it to Governor Pat McCrory and all legislators.
