NEW INFO: Motorcyclist Hurt In Craven County Crash

A motorcyclist, riding with six other friends, was hurt when his bike went off the road in Craven County highway this morning.

State troopers say Steven Conner of Camp Lejeune was unfamiliar with the road and in a curve he ran off the road and overturned his bike.

The crash happened on Brices Creek Road, near Countyline Road around 10:15 a.m.

The 25-year-old man was taken to CarolinaEast Medical Center and was treated for minor injuries.

Trooper R.A. Woods says no charges have been filed pending further investigation.
