Much Warmer Air On The Way To Eastern Carolina

A strong high pressure will continue to dominate eastern Carolina's weather as it sits off the East Coast. Southwesterly winds will pump much warmer air into the area on Friday as afternoon highs reach the upper 60s. We could see record high temperatures over the weekend as we hit the 70s. No significant rain is expected through Sunday afternoon although a few sprinkles could pop up Friday afternoon near the beaches.
