Several Eastern NC towns are in the running for the title of America's "Ultimate Fishing Town," and they need your vote to claim that title in the World Fishing Network contest.
So far, nominated towns include Morehead City, New Bern, Beaufort, Swansboro, Southport and Wilmington.
You can nominate your favorite fishing town now until April 15th.
The Crystal Coast Tourism Authority wants you to spread the word and encourage everyone you know to vote when the time comes. Online voting runs April 15th through May 3rd.
