A pregnant mom charged with causing a wreck that killed her unborn baby, her toddler, and her friend is due in court today.
Maci Mooring, 20, is scheduled for an appearance in court in Greene County today, for the fatal crash on Highway 258 near Snow Hill on August 27. The Highway Patrol says Mooring lost her unborn baby in this crash, along with her 18-month-old daughter Kaleigh. Mooring's friend, 20-year-old Erica Jones died, but her daughters, a two week old and 16 month old survived.
Mooring is facing a DWI charge, for medicine that was not prescribed to her. Court records show she's also charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a schedule two controlled substance. We'll let you know what happens in court.
