Mild With A Risk Of Showers Across Eastern Carolina On Tuesday

A cold front approaching our area from the west will increase clouds and the threat for showers on Tuesday. Southerly winds will bring warmer air into the area with most locations hitting the upper 50s to lower 60s. Most communities will receive around a quarter inch of rain by Tuesday evening. Skies will clear Tuesday night followed by mostly sunny skies both Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler by Wednesday with highs close to 50°.
