We have an amazing story to share with you from one Friday night football game.
DH Conley in Pitt County dedicated its game Friday to Spencer Hampton. He played at Conley and ECU and died from cancer this summer.
Conley beat Farmville Central 44 to 7. Hampton wore number 44 while he played at Conley. His wife Lindsay wore number 7 when she played softball there.
There's no question Hampton's presence was felt in a game dedicated to him, a memorable night indeed for all those at the game.
