Jailers said a local man is waking up in jail Thursday morning facing serious charges from two counties in the east.
Deputies said 28-year-old Montreal Williams was arrested by the Pitt County Sheriff's office around 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
Williams was already a wanted man in Martin County after not appearing in court on old charges of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
Now, Williams faces four counts of first degree kidnapping, four counts of assault by pointing a gun, first degree burglary, and other charges in Pitt County.
Deputies said his bond was set at $615,000 ahead of a first court appearance scheduled for Thursday morning.
