A man is jailed on a $400,000 secured bond after his arrest for raping a child under the age of 12.
Jones County deputies arrested James Campbell, Jr., of Burneytown Road, on two counts of first degree rape and two counts of first degree sex offense on a child.
Deputies say in January, Child Protective Services received allegations that the 26-year-old Campbell was having inappropriate sexual behavior with the girl.
Deputies say additional charges may follow in the case.
