Man Wanted For Jacksonville Rape

Police and federal agents are asking for the public's help in tracking down a suspected rapist.

Jacksonville police this morning released an artist's sketch of a man wanted in a May 10th rape that happened in the northern end of the city.

They describe the person as a black man, approximately 5'10" to 6'2" tall, and wearing an olive green t-shirt and dark knee-length shorts.

The sketch was created by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone who knows the man's identity should call Jacksonville police at 910-938-6405 or Crimestoppers at 910-938-3273.
