A father and his stepson are accused of killing a Duplin County man and then leaving his body alongside a road.

Sheriff Blake Wallace says 69-year-old Herbert Stroud and his 20-year-old stepson, Jeremy Stephens, were arrested around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Both are charged with murder and felony larceny.

The body of Henry Bouyer of Magnolia was found last Tuesday morning on Carrolls Road, just outside of Warsaw. The 37-year-old man had been shot.

The two suspects are being held without bond.
