A Florida man was found guilty of attempted drug trafficking in New Bern after authorities say he changed a prescription.

Investigators say John Campana of Florida used a fraudulent prescription for oxycodone at the Realo Pharmacy in New Bern, and changed the quantity dispensed from 50 to 150 dosage units.
The 46-year-old was arrested immediately after he was given the prescription.

Campana was given a suspended sentence of 25 - 42 months, three years probation and ordered to pay a 1-thousand dollar fine.
