The Bermuda High will remain anchored off the Southeast coast through Wednesday. It will give eastern Carolina a hot southwesterly wind that will take temperatures in the lower to middle 90s under mostly sunny skies. Heat index values will reach the upper 90s.
The high will slowly move offshore Wednesday night as a cold front approaches the area. The front will bring an increase in showers and storms by Wednesday night through Friday. Temperatures will be in the middle 90s Wednesday then cool off slightly Thursday and Friday as more clouds and showers cover the area. HIghs in the upper 80s to around 90 can be excpected Thursday through the weekend.
