Kinston Man Caught Trespassing In Housing Complex

A Kinston man is in custody for trespassing and resisting arrest.

According to the Kinston Department of Public Safety, Staffond Brown was caught trespassing in the Jack Roundtree apartments in Kinston late Friday night.

Brown is in the Lenoir County jail. Officials at the jail say he was brought in at 3 o'clock Saturday morning.

A check of Brown's record shows a number of other charges, including first degree kidnapping and attempted armed robbery charges from 2003.

His bond is $1,000.
