Police are now investigating two separate ATM break-ins on different community college campuses.
On November 13th, Pitt Community College said an ATM in the Goess Building was broken into and cash stolen.
Investigators said the PCC crime likely occurred around 4:30 a.m. that Wednesday.
Now police are looking for the burglar who broke into Lenoir Community College and did the same thing there.
Kinston police say the break-in at LCC was discovered at 6:40 a.m. Saturday by campus security.
Someone broke out a glass door in the student lounge area and got into the ATM. An unknown amount of cash was taken, while damage to the machine itself was listed at $2,000.
Kinston police say there's no evidence to show the two burglaries are related.
