Officers in Kinston are cautioning drivers cutting through fog Wednesday morning after a rear-end wreck.

Kinston police said around 6 a.m. Wednesday, they were called to a rear-end wreck between a garbage truck and a vehicle along Highway 70, east of Lenoir Community College.

Investigators said the garbage truck was making a u-turn, and was rear-ended by an oncoming vehicle.

The driver in the vehicle reportedly had minor injuries.

No charges have been filed yet as the wreck is still under investigation.

Police said fog was the big contributing factor to this wreck.
