Kinston Crews Clearing Streets After Storm

Crews in Kinston have been clearing streets in the city since Wednesday's snow storm. Kinston received 7 inches of snow.

Between city and state highway crews, most major routes in the city have been cleared.

City Manager Tony Sears says they have three plows working throughout the city. He expects they could start plowing residential streets by Friday, if not Saturday.

City Hall reopened Thursday morning, even though there was no heat.

The DOT says most primary roads in Lenoir County are clear.
