Kids Learn About Careers At Swansboro Middle School

A group of students in Onslow County got to learn first hand Wednesday about careers from people who have worked in fields they are passionate about.

More than 30 professionals spoke to 800 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Swansboro Middle School.

The students put together presentations about what they think they might do when they graduate and then got to talk to people in many of those professions.

For those students asking about how to make the most money today, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, says the highest paid jobs are in the medical field.
