Johnson & Johnson Recalls Glucose Meters

Johnson & Johnson recalls 2 million blood glucose meters worldwide due to a malfunction.

The recall involves the OneTouch Verio IQ blood glucose meters made by Johnson & Johnson's LifeScan unit. The company says the meters may not provide a warning when a diabetic's blood sugar level is dangerously high, instead, the meters may turn off.

To get a replacement meter or to ask questions, consumers should contact LifeScan's customer service at (800) 717-0276.
