The 11th annual Riverwalk Festival in downtown Jacksonville is underway.

The Riverwalk and New River Palooza Festival transforms downtown Jacksonville to celebrate the city and the New River.

There are food vendors, a petting zoo, and lots of entertainment for the whole family Friday afternoon through Saturday.

Sandra Wyrick with the festival says, "We want to show off the downtown area. We've had a lot of revitalization and we want to show people how beautiful it is. We have a lot of gorgeous homes down here, and also the New River. People don't realize the beautiful river we have right downtown."
