If you read the Jacksonville Daily News, you probably recognize the name Lindell Kay. He worked for the newspaper for more than 6 years covering crime and government, but now he's following his dream and starting his own weekly newspaper.
"Some people think that I'm crazy. They think its foolish to jump into an industry that is dying, but I think whats dying is newspapers that aren't giving people what they want. If you look, weekly newspapers are doing very well, and I think we're going to do very well in this market," said Kay.
The paper will be called ENC Weekly, and will be delivered every Wednesday starting May 15th. It will also be available online. Kay says he will do in-depth investigations into local news.
