Jacksonville Police kept their badges, but rolled up their sleeves for a different type of work Friday.

They were raising money for Special Olympics as they worked at the Kettle Diner.

Officers refilled coffee, cleaned off tables and seated customers to earn tips for the fundraiser.

All the money the cops earned will go straight to the local Special Olympics.

The Tip-a Cop program has been around for more than 10-years.
