Jacksonvile USO Ready To Help Families Of Marines Killed In Nevada

The USO of Jacksonville heard the news of the Nevada training accident which killed and injured 15 marines and pulled together resources along with the community for the the families of the marines involved in the explosion.

The United Service Organizations' director in Jacksonville Deborah Fisher describes the non-profit as an emotional safety net for military families and the community and veterans. All day Tuesday volunteers from the community called and offered their time. Fisher says they will wait until the families or community request their help.

"You just have to be strong for them. Have your melt down later- just got to be there for them," said Fisher.
