A woman is arrested after deputies say they received a tip she used narcotics with children in her vehicle.
The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Brittany Lee on Friday, after they say she admitted to investigators that there were used hypodermic needles in her vehicle.
Investigators say they located her vehicle as it was driving down Highway 304 in Bayboro. Lawmen say they stopped the vehicle after a small child was seen jumping around in the back seat while the vehicle was driving.
Officials say several used hypodermic needles were seized from the vehicle as well as a small amount of narcotics. Child Protective Services was also called.
Lee is facing simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment charges.
Lee is being held on a $7,500 secured bond.
