Investigators Say Duplex Fire Was Set

Fire investigators say a fire overnight at a duplex was set and they have turned the case over to police.

Greenville firefighters were called around 2:00 a.m. to the fire on West 14th Avenue.

Deputy Fire Chief Eric Griffin says the fire started in the vacant side of the duplex, while two people were living in the other unit.

Griffin says the duplex was 75% destroyed by the fire and the Red Cross is assisting the victims.
