An apparent case of road rage spilled over into the drive-thru lane of a local fast food restaurant this week.
Farmville police say a pickup truck driver pushed his way out of the drive-thru lane, striking the car in front of him. It happened at the McDonald's on U.S. 258 around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.
In the video, you can see the Toyota Tacoma, which is either red or maroon, try to get out of the drive-thru line. The pickup truck hits the car in front of it, pushing it out of the way and nearly flipping over.
The victim told police it was an act of road rage. Police say the pickup driver first cut off the car, then the car cut off the truck. After an exchange of words in the drive-through lane, the pickup then rammed the other vehicle.
The driver of the pickup was a white man with medium length hair and was with a woman. His pickup truck should have front end damage.
Anyone with information on who the impatient fast food customer is should call Farmville police at 252-753-4111.
