Impacts Of A Government Shutdown On Camp Lejeune

A government shutdown would impact a number of base programs and services across Camp Lejeune beginning Tuesday and continuing until federal funding has been restored.

Among the programs and services that will remain open: Marine Corps exchanges, child development centers, base schools, fitness centers, and counseling offices.

Programs and services that will be closed include: the commissary (closed beginning Oct 2), libraries, the education center, the outdoor recreation office, hobby shops, the relocation assistance office, and professional development services.
